With technology comes convenience, and the technology of the Internet grows each day allowing busy people and consumers to do more in less time. Some of the most often used Internet sites include; on-line banking, internet shopping, on-line bill paying, research at our fingertips, e-mail, instant messaging, photo image storing and creation and so much more. Not only can we communicate, pay bills complete many other day to day tasks, but we can also help our children with homework, do research, plan a vacation, make reservations (for restaurants to travel) and so many other things. But with this technology comes risks, especially as websites try to “personalize” the site to each individual, even to greeting you by name when you log in. As a result, more and more information is gathered, and to keep that information safe, more and more passwords created.
Why Is Windows Vista So Slow?
Dealing with a slow Vista PC is not something most people want to do; especially considering the fact that Vista is the newest and most technologically advanced windows operating system to ever hit the market. Important Concepts For Linux Beginners - Permissions And Groups

To try to address all of the common formats in one Tech Tip might be quite a read, so we’re doing a two part series on Flash Memory. Part I of the Flash memory series will focus on two similar, very popular and generally interchangeable formats: MMC and SD.
Got a Small Business? Choose the Right Domain Name
Choosing a domain name can be daunting. Research the subject (after all, you’re the type of marketer who researches, right?) and you’ll be hit with a landslide of opinions, most contradictory. There is, however, two points that everyone agrees on:

What is a Domain Name and Where to Register?
A domain name is an alias for an IP address. So, what is an IP address? An IP address is a numeric code that represents a binary number and signifies where an address to look for on a network such as the Internet for content. An example of an IP address would be 172.160.254.1 or 10101100.00010000.11111110.00000001 in binary. Rather than typing in a long and easily forgotten IP address, a domain allows you to use an easily remembered name.
